Equity Custom Homes, Inc. has been designing and building distinctive custom homes in Colorado since 1986. We believe our teamwork approach to building homes makes us uniquely capable of creating exceptional homes for discriminating buyers each and every year.

Matt Lawrence and Scott Dittman have more than 27 years combined experience with Equity Custom Homes, Inc. and recently became the sole principal owners of the company.

Matt Lawrence joined Equity Custom Homes, Inc. in 1992 after earning a bachelors degree in marketing from the University of Colorado. He has worked his way up from project manager back in 1992 to his current position of owner. His current responsibilities with the company encompass facilitating the design process with the clients, architects and interior designers, overseeing all construction services and business development. Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and 2 labs; playing poker; travel and attending CU football games.

Scott Dittman joined Equity Custom Homes, Inc. in 1995 after having spent four years as a CPA and small business consultant with Arthur Anderson and Company. Scott also attended the University of Colorado and earned a bachelors degree in finance. His current responsibilities include sales, construction contracts and specifications, financing, business development and all related business services. Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, playing poker and attending CU football games.

Together, Matt and Scott have been involved in over 125 custom home projects and are constantly striving to stay on the cutting edge of emerging building and energy technologies to build every house better. With their diverse backgrounds and experience, they bring a unique combination to both construction and business services, which are critical in making each custom home building project a success.
