“The PowerHouse” at 2006 Metro Denver Parade of Homes
“The PowerHouse” at the 2006 Metro Denver Parade of Homes
unleashes the super cooling effect of a hurricane with its exciting new home
cooling system; in the winter it features cozy-to-the-toes radiant heat
technology.
The home also features extensive solar technology, blown cellulose insulation
and “Phill,” a natural gas filling station that can power a car that travels 250
miles on $9 of fuel.
This Energy Star Home has earned an impressive 91.5 percent home energy rating
and more than 300 points on the Built Green Colorado checklist. It is packed
with powerful savings and is friendly to Mother Earth.
And, there’s a whole lot more.
Visitors to the home will learn how to improve their homes, too. Best of all,
“The PowerHouse” is ready for viewing and inspection today. A full photo
portfolio will be ready in days.
The Parade of Homes is being held this year in the heart of “Aeropolitan,” the
huge “airport city” that is developing near Denver International Airport, which
is the size of Chicago O’Hare and Dallas-Fort Worth airports combined.
The event is being held at Reunion, a master-planned community by Shea Homes and
is expected to attract about 100,000 visitors, making it the largest single-site
Parade of Homes in the country.
